Anyone else in the UK watch this after Corrie Tonight?
It's about a family that consider moving to africa, uprooting from the UK to spend their life there and stars Amanda Holden and Stephen Tompkinsin.
I mainly watched it for a) my love of nature and b) Stephen Tompkinson who starred in the film Brassed Off but was very impressed. I think this could be a really good series. It also starred Ex-Corrie's "Killer" Katy Harris aka Lucy Jo Hudson. I was also very impressed with the young boy who played Evan as well i have to admit.
Did anyone catch it tonight? It was very engaging and very good.

It took a while to get going, but it has hit written all over it.
I hope when they do move there, Mr Trevanion ( As the kids so quaintly call him ) keeps the guns locked up !! Evan appears to have a weakness for them.
Lucy Jo's character seems very similar to Katie.......stroppy and cries !!

Seemingly, it got over 10 million viewers.

Wow, that's very good for an ITV drama! I do think iot has plenty of potential, it's not a crime/policedrama, or some person who's having another realtionship with someone other than their partner, Doc... whatever, reality tv, *insert idea* swap etc etc etc.

That's great news! I'm really really loving this series.
I've always liked Stephen Tompkinson, but the thing that makes this series special for me, apart from a good story is the reactions to the animals are real, and you know they're very real from the actors, and it's not acting. Especially with the two youngest kids, you can see in their faces how real their reactions are to these wild animals, especially "smiley" Ewan as i call him.
